    “Das schöne kleine Gristow liegt etwa 6 km nördlich von Greifswald um damit für uns relativ zentral um unsere Ausflüge Tag für Tag zu koordinieren. Man benötigt wenig Zeit um viele Ausflugsziele auf Rügen, Usedom, Zingst - Darß oder im Landesinneren zu erkunden. In Gristow selber befindet sich ein Fischrestaurant und auch in den nahen Nachbarorten ist immer wieder kleine Gastronomie zu entdecken. Zum Entspannen lädt auch der kleine Hafen direkt am Bodden ein. Für Freizeitaktiven gibt es zahlreiche Wander- und Fahrradrouten rund um Gristow und Umgebung. Direkt nebenan vom Ferienhaus hat man die Möglichkeit Kleinigkeiten für den täglich Bedarf zu kaufen und früh seine Brötchen zu holen, sollte es ein größerer Einkauf werden, ist 6 km entfernt ein großes Einkaufszentrum, das alles bietet, was das Shoppingherz begehrt.”
